The Red Velvet Story

Inspired by Marilyn Monroe's timeless Red Velvet photos, I set out to recreate this iconic series as a self-portrait with my own dark and moody twist. Using 15 yards of rich velvet as a backdrop, I relied on studio lighting to bring depth and drama to the images, capturing her elegance while infusing shadows and intensity. This approach retained her sensuality but with a haunting, cinematic edge—a tribute to her legacy reimagined through a modern lens.
